This is a recon of 3 men’s shirts into a high waist-ed circle skirt. I left the seams exposed for a deconstructed look and then added a pop of color around the hem with appliqued yarn strands. This project took about 4 hours including figure out how to do put it together
So in order to tackle a project I really need to think it through. Below are all my little notes and such that I made before I made the dress above. While not a fully fleshed out tutorial it give a good idea of the process. This starts with sketches and a plan.
This ditty was a quickly for the playa… It is a one size fit’s all number that can be worn several ways due to the magic of rope… my beloved beloved rope. By the way these toga creations are harder than the look. Getting it to hang on the body without flashing all the time …

So this is a silly little card I made for my 15 year old son. I was made from scraps of junk mail. I heart re-use. I obviously can’t take a picture in focus lately to save my soul. Then again I have been relying on my phone for pictures and video.
